This basic model of the OVAL EX DELTA series includes options to measure liquid or gas/steam flows. It also includes a range of intelligent functions such as self diagnostics and the capability to review and change parameters. Additional design and installation options include fixed or replaceable sensor, mains or battery powered unit and integral or remote indicator, with or without display.

An economic metering option for flow measurement in pipelines greater than 200 mm in diameter. In new installation or retrofit, all the users needs to do is insert the probe into the pipeline. The insertion EX DELTA series includes options to measure liquid or gas/steam flows. The hottap type is particularly beneficial for in-line measurement of a continuous process or where the process flow cannot be interrupted. Additional design and installation options include fixed or replaceable sensor and integral or remote indicator, with or without display.

OVAL’s proprietary diamond-shaped vortex shedding body together with the sensor location apart from the bluff body sensor results in a consistent performance in measuring dirty liquids containing materials such as scale, dust and other contaminants. Additional design and installation options include fixed or replaceable sensor, mains or battery powered unit and integral or remote indicator, with or without display.

An inexpensive version of the EX DELTA series of industrial vortex meters that can measure liquid or gas/steam flows at temperatures up to 200°C. The product line includes battery powered, remote output provided and flow switch type models.

Vortex flow meters with a thermistor sensor for vortex street detection. Changes in thermistor temperature lead to changes in resistance value and a train of pulses proportional to the flow velocity. A gas purge version is available for metering gases containing dust and mist, or high or low temperature gases.

Developed for measuring gas flow in large size pipelines, the insertion DELTA Model VF includes a thermistor sensor for vortex street detection and a probe equivalent to a 2-inch DELTA vortex meter which is inserted in the pipe to determine the actual flow rate by measuring a representative flow velocity of the process fluid passing it.
