Magflux A Magnetic Flow Sensor Overview The Mecon Magflux A is a precision measuring electromagnetic flow sensor for determining the flow rate of most electrically conductive fluids and also for media such as sludge, pulp and paste. Due to the magnetic field, the Magflux A can be used to measure flow rates up to 10 m/s (32.8 ft/s) and a minimum conductivity of 3 µS/cm, when using a synchronized static field. The entire measuring device comprises a flow sensor and a dedicated transmitter.
For a complete Magflow meter, the Magflux A flow sensor must be combined with a Magflux M1 flow transmitter, either mounted remotely or as a compact unit.
