Red y Compact Mass Meter Overview
The Red-y compact series from Voegtlin comprises compact, battery-powered thermal mass flow meters with options for manual valves and alarm functions. They offer high accuracy and a wide dynamic range (special accuracy option ±1% of full scale, turndown ratio 1 : 50, standard ±2 or 3% depending on flow range), include intelligent alarm functions for versatile application and can be installed in any position. The Red-y compact can be powered with a battery (lifetime approx 2 years) or with a 24 Vdc power supply; battery operation makes it a high-precision alternative to variable area flow meters. In addition to the actual flow value, total flow can also be displayed, which is ideal for gas consumption measurements. All devices are calibrated with real gas, which guarantees high accuracy and reproducibility. High-precision needle valves are used in manual valve versions, allowing fine adjustment of the flow rate.
