When booking a calibration please complete the Calibration Requirements Form this will help to avoid delays and possible extra charges.
Prior to sending your device to us for calibration, please complete the Declaration of Decontamination Form.
Our Health and Safety Policy requires that all equipment must be cleaned by the user prior to shipment unless otherwise instructed by iCenta Controls, failure to properly clean could result in an additional charge.
Upon receipt of your flow meter it will be inspected, documented and uniquely identified. The inspection will look for visible signs of damage to rotor, sensors, electrodes, and electronics and any problems or observations will be reported to the customer prior to the calibration. Upon instruction, we can either adjust and in many cases repair the instrument or arrange for it be repaired by the manufacturer.
The Calibration will be carried out by a trained calibration technician in a temperature-controlled laboratory and once the results have been checked and authorised, the device will be returned with a calibration certificate.
The target turnaround time for calibrations is seven working days. This target is workload dependent, but we can generally offer a fast turn-around service* for emergencies, please enquire.
* This assumes the availability of the process medium and that no maintenance or repairs are required.
