The Mag-flux Sonden, is designed to be used in conjunction with the Mag-flux m1.
The Mag-flux MIS 1/D and MIS 2/15 electromagnetic flow sensors are designed for accurate velocity and flow measurement of electrically conductive liquids in large-diameter pipelines. Using a pulsed constant magnetic field these sensors deliver reliable performance independent of temperature, pressure, density, or viscosity.
Engineered for demanding industrial environments, the mag-flux flow probes are ideal for water and wastewater treatment, steel production, and energy or utility applications. With no moving parts, the sensors offer exceptionally low maintenance and long-term operational stability.
Designed for flexible installation, the sensors can be mounted in existing pipelines and even replaced under operating conditions. For improved accuracy in challenging flow profiles, up to two sensors can be connected to a single transmitter to calculate an averaged flow value.
Features of the Mag-flux Sonden include:
- Suitable for DN 200 up to DN 2000 pipelines
- Measures conductive liquids
- Accuracy +3% of reading
- Flow ranges up to 10 m/s
- Maintenance-free design with no moving parts
- Ideal for large pipe diameters and cost-effective retrofitting
Typical Applications:
- Water treatment
- Wastewater & sewage
- Industrial process water
- Utilities
